- Events: we share your name, company and role with the other participants of the same event. We take photos and video at events (see the Terms). You can object at any time.
- Contact: when you email us we use your details to answer you.
3. Cookies and local storage
We do not use non-essential cookies. We store a small note in your browser (local or session storage) to remember that you closed the offer banner or pop-up. This is needed for the site to work as you expect and does not track you.
4. Who we share data with
Service providers who process data for us: website hosting (Lovable and its infrastructure providers), Luma (events and memberships), Stripe (payments), [email or newsletter tool], and our accountant. We have agreements with them where required. Some are based outside the EU. Where that is the case, they work under safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data.
5. How long we keep it
Requests that are not accepted: up to 12 months. Members: for the length of the membership plus 2 years. Invoices and financial records: 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Event photos: as long as they are useful for The Break, or until you ask us to remove them.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy (portability), or object to how we use it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email victor@unafraid-heights.com and we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
